"Z" - Cyanotype by Lukas Kroulik is the title of my entry into the Chelsea Arts Club annual charity auction which supports both young and elderly artists.
Z symbolises the terrible war raging in Europe today. It is both the symbol of the invading army and stands for the leader of its defenders.
I have rendered "Z" in a fascinating old medium which is new to me. This is cyanotype, one of the first photographic techniques developed in the early 19th century when images of flowers were produced without a camera.

I am so proud to be gifting my latest work.
The starting bid for all artworks is £60 ... but let's see what happens up to the finish line on 4th April 2025!
